Designed for homes with non-traditional phone service (VOIP or cell phone only users), the CT Backup Line solution offers both flexibility and security. By having a dedicated landline in your home, the worry over power failures and e-911 service inconsistencies will not be a problem for you.
CT Backup Line provides the following benefits:
- If your electrical power goes out, you’ll have the CT Backup Line to still place 911 calls.
- Use your CT Backup Line as a secure secondary phone line for incoming phone calls when teenagers or someone else is using your other phone.
- CT Backup Line gives you another alternative for incoming calls when your cellular phone doesn’t get a good signal, or you don’t want to waste your cellular minutes on incoming calls that you can take at your house.
- No monthly charges to pay, just a simple, one time $5 charge will activate the CT Backup Line for use in emergencies and for incoming calls.
- Current CT telephone customers moving to a CT Backup Line can keep their existing phone number. New CT customers will be provided with a new phone number.
- The CT Backup Line can easily be converted to full incoming & outgoing service by contacting our Business Office, giving you flexibility and convenience.
